Being from New Jersey, Veronica and Nick wanted the beauty of the shore but not the beach. We chose an off beat location that had the feel of the ocean and beach complete with a pier.
Now I get to celebrate their wedding with them tomorrow!
Walt and Kacey, married on April 16, 2016. One of the first of the wedding season for 2016. They had a perfect day. The weather was warm and sunny. Making for the best lighting situations all day long! Kacey chose a coral color for her bridesmaids which popped in the spring sun. Her mermaid style dress looked absolutely gorgeous on her.
Their day was full of beautiful moments and fun memories.
"I wish we could do it again." said Kacey. Well, Kacey, I don't blame you at all. It was perfect.
Maternity Sessions do not have to be held indoors in a studio setting. There are so many beautiful outdoor locations. Why not choose your favorite?
This couple wanted an airy outdoor feel with some trees and woodsy undertones. We choose an offbeat shore location, which had the best of both worlds. And while we got the natural beauty photographs, we also had to get some really fun
photographs with the couple to include a shirt they had made based off of a Pinterest Idea.
Maternity Sessions, no matter what your style is, are beautiful. And a wonderful way to document that stage of you and your baby's life.
PinUp pregnancy photographs are a fairly new style and ladies are loving it.

Photographing a fellow photographer is always fun. This photographer and I actually swapped taking family portraits for each other. This was so very special to me. Here are some photographs I took of her with her husband and son. The fall colors and that golden sun will get you every time!
One couldn't tell from their photographs that their wedding was acutally on a fairly chilly day in October. The sun and the beach proved to be a splendid backdrop for their nuptuals.
The bridal prep was in the Penthouse Suite of the Flanders Hotel. What a view! The balcony and visible rooftop of the hotel reminded me of and Italian Villa. Especially with the shining sun and clear blue sky. I knew I had to get Ashley's bridal portraits out on that balcony. I am so glad that she agreed to take the few extra minutes to capture her timeless look in this location.
Of course then we had a first look with Dad, a beachfront ceremony, family formals, followed by countless memories and a reception to never be forgotten.
Walt and Kacey chose Gibraltar Gardens for the backdrop of their Fall Engagement Portraits. While many of the leaves had fallen already, the sun during sunset was golden and beautiful. I can't get over how gorgeous the light was for their session. Little gardens like this always get my attention. Many times they have beautiful statues, structures, or gates, just like this one that adds a fantastic atmosphere.
I am looking forward to Walt and Kaci's April wedding at the Waterfall in Claymont, DE!
We had such a wonderful 2015 that it was hard to narrow down. This year there are no specific "best of" categories, just a collection of some of our favorite images. We wanted to give our portraits as much love as our weddings so we included some photographs from family, individual, fitness, and engagement session portraits as well.
We are looking forward to 2016 being a year as fun, full, and memorable as 2015!
